MLB Baseball Greatness
I’m not sure what made me think of the outstanding baseball
pitcher, Roy Halladay, today. It might
have something to do with me thinking about greatness. And he certainly was one of the best baseball
pitchers of all time. This is not a
delusion about how good he was. The
statistics and awards confirm.
The
tragedy of his talent is that it was taken away in a terrible airplane accident
which should not interfere with what he achieved.
Most Notable achievements of Pitcher Roy "Doc" Halladay
Roy Halladay earned the Cy Young Award in both the American
and national baseball leagues. He played
for Philadelphia Phillies in the National League and the Toronto Blue Jays of
the American League. Roy was the second pitcher all-time to toss a
perfect game and win a Cy Young Award in the same season.
