Car Art 1949 Mercury “James Dean” Car Painting

1949 Mercury Car Art

My 1949 Mercury “James Dean” car art is hanging in the new Transmission Brewing Co. The brewery is in the downtown area of Ventura, ca. and absolutely gorgeous.  This model of Mercury was used in the James Dean movie, “Rebel Without a Cause” and is one of the classic car hotrods.   When the 49 Merc. Was customized by Sam Barris the car was called the “lead sled  Although I never owned one, I always wanted one that had been modified like this car painting.

The 1949 Merc. car painting is 6 feet by 10 feet, acrylic on unstretched canvas.  .  If you need or want the perfect painting that will compliment your environment please drop me a note through the contact page.
